Memory Diaspora
During NNN FAIR 2023, I will sell some postcards of my paintings to fund my artistic book: Memory Diaspora. Further, I will host a workshop called Village of Forgetting & Remembering as the continuation of my research on transcultural care at Goethe Institute in Rotterdam. In the workshop, we are going to explore our childhood memories to speculate a transcultural co-living scenario when we are old in a playful way!
Linhuei Chen is a Taiwanese Dutch artist in Rotterdam whose artwork explores the impact of cultural hybridity and the notions of home, inspired by her migration experiences. She primarily uses paintings as a medium and often incorporates her art therapy and science expertise to create participatory projects in the research process.
